One of the best aspects of vaping is the wild amount of innovative and downright crazy flavors you can experiment with. Let’s take a look just at a few.
It’s been quite a while since we issued Part 1 of our most unique e-juice flavors…all the way back in October in fact! We figured it was high time we rectified that, so we’re back with Part 2. And while we covered three flavors in Part 1, we’ll be covering four of our most inventive flavors (which just so happen to be among our best sellers and highest-reviewed varieties).
If you’re wondering why this subhead is in all caps and features three exclamation points, it’s because we’re big SpongeBob SquarePants fans here (especially of the first three seasons). In those early seasons (Season 3, to be exact), our titular character and his best friend Patrick Star come across someone who likes chocolate more than anyone has ever liked anything ever before in the history of history: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uc9vYCMm7aQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLuzMDkhYek (Can we just say how happy we are to have worked in a SpongeBob reference into these blogs?) Anyway, if you like chocolate even a fraction as much as the fish in the above videos, you’ll surely love Twisted Vapors’ Milk Chocolate e-juice. A big issue with chocolate flavored e-juices is the tendency for the manufacturers to make the chocolate flavor overpowering (which honestly, can be an issue with lots of flavors, but it tends to creep up particularly in chocolate varieties). Twisted Vapors has done an excellent job at letting the deeper, more subtle essence of the chocolate notes shine through while eliminating the over-the-top intensity of other chocolate e-liquid choices. It’s a 70/30 VG to PG blend, comes in the standard 30mL bottle, and is available in 5 different nicotine levels. The best part though? The fact that it’s currently on sale from $9.99 down to just $5.96!
Custard’s Last Stand
Okay, so admittedly this has nothing to do with General Custer and his infamous final stand at the Battle of Little Bighorn…but come on, how many puns or creative intros can you make with custard? But since we’re in a bit of a historical mood with our callback of Custer, let’s take a bit of a stroll down history lane via the Wikipedia entry for custard:
Mixtures of milk and eggs thickened by heat have long been part of French cuisine. Custards baked in pastry (custard tarts) were very popular in the Middle Ages, and are the origin of the English word ‘custard’: the French term ‘croustade’ originally referred to the crust of a tart, and is derived from the Italian word crostata, and ultimately the Latin crustāre. Examples include Crustardes of flessh and Crustade, in The Forme of Cury. These recipes include solid ingredients such as meat, fish, and fruit bound by the custard. Stirred custards cooked in pots are also found under the names Creme Boylede and Creme boiled.
Two things: 1) You can be assured that you’ll never come across a fish custard flavored e-juice here at Ecig, and 2) You might remember this image of a delicious looking custard tart – that’s right, the Twisted Vapors Vanilla Custard was featured in our “Top Reviewed E-Juice” article as one of our most beloved flavors based upon votes our users and customers. Just like the Milk Chocolate flavor above, this Twisted Vapor deliciousness features 70/30 VG to PG blend, comes in the same size 30mL bottle, and is available in 5 different nicotine levels (0-24mg). And wouldn’t you know it? It’s on sale too!
“Go West, Young Man”
Or lady, of course…women love vaping just as much as men, but the above quote related to America’s inevitable expansion and settlement out west and was originally for the fellas. It was a vastly different time back in the mid-1800s…but one thing that hasn’t changed is that many people like the taste and smell of the tobacco plant. We all know that one of the best things about vaping is that e-juices contain no actual tobacco – it’s one of the biggest reasons why e-cigs are so much safer than smoking. But if you’re one of the many who have used e-cigs to successfully quit cigarettes, you might miss that tobacco flavor. If that describes you, you’ll want to check out another entry from Twisted Vapors – their Western Tobacco e-juice. Like all the other Twisted Vapors flavors in this piece, it’s the same bottle size, PG/VG split, same available nicotine strengths and same sale price!
Three Times the Flavor
Although it’s a horse racing term that means placing a bet that correctly predicts which horses will come in first, second, and third, the term “trifecta” has been somewhat misappropriated into meaning anything good that comes in threes. We’re not etymologists here, but we think a big part of that misappropriation has to do with a certain scene in the one American sitcom that changed our cultural lexicon more than any other – Seinfeld. In a classic season 9 episode, George Costanza attempts to combine his three greatest passions – food, sex, and television – into an uncontrollable urge that he deems “The Trifecta”: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qnw8EPvL8HQ&feature=youtu.be&t=2m38s While sex, food, and TV is probably pretty great, a triple shot of delicious vanilla flavors is also pretty good and is the variety of our final e-juice flavor, Twisted Vapors’ Vanilla Trifecta. It’s a blend of vanilla ice cream, vanilla custard, and vanilla swirl, and like the previous three, is currently on sale for just $5.96 for a 30mL bottle! An interesting bit of trivia: the first scent that leads George Costanza on his path toward pursing “The Trifecta” is his girlfriend lighting some vanilla scented incense during lovemaking. That’s it for now – stay tuned for Part 3 very soon! By Jerry Whitehead III
